Our latest move to a new casita

Well, our air conditioner went out on Sunday, so we were fortunate enough to have a new place available for us to move right in to. So here we are, we didn't think things could get any better, but the did. We went from one awesome place to an even more awesome place.

The weather is a balmy 95 degrees everyday, not much change.

We ride our bicycles every morning, and then come home and hang out in our pool, life is incredible!

Dave's working on Cuervo. We should launch her with a couple of weeks, and then we'll be remodeling the inside while we're on the water on our mooring ball. We'll be able to see Cuervo right from our casita.

Adjusting to life in Mexico has been quite easy. Needless to say, Dave, Lucy and I are very content with life.

We hope all is well with everyone!!! :)

Safe arrival in Mexico on 7/5

We left AZ on 7/5 and moved into our little bungalow on the behia by 5:30 p.m. the same day. We feel so fortunate, and we need to stop and pinch ourselves daily to really realize we are living the life we planned just 15 months ago!! We love it here!

Photos of our pad and its views ahhhhhhhhhhhhh...... will be on their way soon.

We hope this finds you happy and healthy!!

Still in the states and in no hurry to do anything, it's great!

We decided to stay with Dave's sister Deb in Arizona through the 4th of July. This way we get to spend time with Deb, and nephews Andrew and Matthew. Deb's friend David lives in Bisbee, and there's always lot's of fun things taking place on the 4th, so we'll be hanging and having a blast in Bisbee, what a cool little town!

I'll update the blog as things progress! Happy Fourth of July to everyone!

The Homeless Oldham's

Closing took place on 6/25. We were completed moved out by 5:00. We looked like Beverly Hillbillies driving up to Sal and Kel's, the only thing missing was Jan in a rocking chair atop of La Bamba (our mexican car).

We couldn't have spent a better last weekend anywhere else and had as much fun as we did with Sal and Kel. On Saturday, six friends came by and an unexpected party began. I began bartending with my main goal being TRASH THEM ALL and have a blast doing it, I SUCCEEDED.

The night ended with Kelly passing out from the extremely strong C&C's I was mixing him. The rest of us with real good buzzes decided it would be fun to deface our dear friend Kel in fun. So, with permanent markers we all signed his butt, and decided to just leave the markers tucked into his belt with his half-downed jeans, sounds sick, but consider the crowd, Sal, Dave, Karen, Andy and me.... No party, like a party with those Harmon's.

Sunday, Gail came over and we all had breakfast together, and a nice visit. After breakfast we broke out the guns and started our target practice, and we really suck, so all God's creatures are safe with us.

Wow, what can I say, but too much fun!!!!

We Love You Sally and Kelly, and New Year's Eve 2010, La Paz, Mexico!!! :)

Bon Voyage Party Hosted by Sally and Kelly

On Saturday, 6/19/2010, Sally and Kelly hosted a party at their home, and invited all of our friends from northern Colorado. I don't anyone that throws a party like Sal and Kel, we are sure lucky to have such great best friends. It was so nice to visit with everyone, you will all be missed, but you can always come see us!

It was a tropical theme, and everyone dressed in tropical attire, had blow-up palm trees, kiddie pools, and one of our favorites, a SpongeBob SquarePants blow-up. We had a blast! Great company, great food, and anything you could imagine to drink. Val put together an incredible mix of tropical music for us, which played all night long, and Katie was the bartender, and what a bartender, thanks so much Val and Katie!

THANK YOU SO MUCH SAL AND KEL!!

Still closing on 6/25/2010

I think at this point in time, all our friends are ready to see us go, as we've had some pre-mature parties, and then more parties. We really are heading out now after a long year of selling off everything we own.

Thank you to all of our family and friends for your friendship and support over many years. We hope you can sometime come sailing with us.

The blog will be kept up to date, so please check it from time to time, so you know where to come meet us.

Live happy and healthy like it's your last day on earth!
